I’m not sure how many of you are aware of the 16 days work it’s an annual thing and usually White Ribbon who are a group of male allies organise a big event in London and previously partnered with FIFA

Anyway the US attorney general picked this years theme for UN Women and it’s orange 🍊 I kind of think it’s genius (after all the most orange of men have and are trying to strip women’s rights)

Violence against women and girls is everywhere — in our homes, our streets, and our screens.

There’s only one way to end it: together.

Every year, from 25 November to 10 December, the world unites for 16 Days of Activism — a global movement led by the UN Secretary-General to end violence against women and girls.

From the quiet breath of ancient cultures to the frenetic hum of our digital present, it is all energy.

Fast-forward to today

Our economy is on a neverending search for ever more energy.

Fossil fuels, rare earths, algorithmic power… all wells are being tapped in the rush for growth, expansion, exploitation. We are pushing the planetary system past its homeostatic comfort zone.
