Wise, experienced women who inhabit rooms our ancestors could only have dreamt of. Yet our real power lays where it always has - in our homes and our communities. When we come together as 'women first' we can never be divided by left and right, black or white or rich and poor. We only come together in what is right and wrong, not just for us, but for those we love and protect. And that's pretty much the whole world.

She's not a mother, she's the leader of a system equal to the patriarchy. She's not old, she's the most senior woman in the room. She doesn't hate men, she just hates the world their ancestors built without us. She doesn't want to rule the world, she wants a world that works for all of us. And she's not here to fight, that's patriarchal thinking — she's much smarter than that.

We learnt from mothers and grand mothers who lived through the evils of war and empire and yet we are filled with hope for the future. We have experienced first hand all the advantages of tech and all the damage it can bring. We are tech savvy, know our history and know what loving humans are capable of. We're spotting patterns, forming strategies and writing narratives that everyone can believe in.

You've seen us on the streets getting arrested for protesting our right to protest. You've heard of women on the frontlines in Iran shielding their younger sisters. And we've all seen the wise OWLs (old white ladies) standing guard for their darker skinned neighbours in the USA. Matriarchs stand in front of batons and guns and stand up front at home, work and in our communities armed with love.

Let's All Break Free

Social media algorithms have changed, and the fallout is hitting women’s businesses, personal brands, and networks hard. Topics like women’s health, feminism, neurodiversity, and sexual wellbeing are being quietly suppressed. We’ll keep challenging it — this may be the only chance to question the base code of the system. But we also have to be honest: we may already be late.

So we’ve built somewhere else.

Meet Our Matriarch

Jane Evans is one of the most successful advertising creatives of her generation creating brands and campaigns still running after 30 years. She has launched every major tech advancement since the dawn of computing, so she's used to explaining what's next, and her uncanny knack of looking into the future has proved correct time and time again.

Which is why she set up the 7th Tribe. She saw what was heading our way. She also saw the solution: the world needs a powerful matriarchy to balance the patriarchal madness that seems to be everywhere right now.

Using her communication and storytelling skills (she's an award-wining copywriter, art director and author) Jane's taking to stages worldwide to tell a story of what the world could be like if it was designed as it should be. For all of us.
