Our last new moon was on the cusp of Libra, this one is at its height. Going from Virgo’s sorting, cleansing, and completion → to Libra’s work of building balance, connection, and fairness.

About the event
This month we call upon Astraea,
Long ago, when the world was young, there was no need for laws or courts. People lived in peace, guided by fairness and compassion. In those golden days, the goddess Astraea walked among humans. She was the daughter of Themis, the spirit of divine law, and Zeus, the king of the gods. Astraea carried with her a pair of shining scales, symbols of justice and balance.
But as time passed, humanity grew restless. Greed replaced generosity, lies grew louder than truth, and violence broke the harmony. Astraea, heartbroken, withdrew. She rose to the heavens, and there she became the constellation Virgo, standing forever with Libra’s scales beside her.
Yet prophecy says that Astraea will return — when people are ready once more to live with fairness, when truth is valued over power, when balance is honoured. Until then, she hovers above us, watching, reminding us…
