A Bigger Test The Algo Won't Spot

We will all be posting in pairs
Find a buddy who will agree to take part with you. Your buddy should be of the opposite gender. If you are non-binary, buddy up with a man or a woman. If you are from the global majority, please buddy up with another global majority person of the opposite gender. Unfortunately, you can't take part in this test without a buddy.
Your buddy should be trustworthy, have roughly the same number of Linkedin followers as you and be based in your timezone.
With your buddy, agree the content of your post (it can be anything*) and what time on 16th SEPTEMBER your post will be published. You must both publish EXACTLY the same content so make sure you're both comfortable with it and it's written in a way that makes sense for both of you to publish. If your content includes a selfie, then naturally it will differ and that's fine. If it's a regular photo, then make sure you both use the same one or similar.
*Probably best to avoid posting or re-posting content on political matters deemed sensitive.
Aim to post something you'd hope would get high reach that's about your industry or the type of work you have in common with your buddy. It might be a trend you've spotted or an insight.
Try not to use AI to write your post.
Don't tag or reference each other in your posts or reference your participation in this test
Don't solicit engagement off-platform to try to artificially impact the performance of your post.
Both you and your buddy must not publish any other LinkedIn posts 24 hrs before or 24 hrs after you publish your test post.
You can use the LinkedIn scheduler tool to ensure your post goes live when you intend it to. You will need to report the results of your post AND your buddy's post 24 hrs after your test goes live. Make sure your buddy will be available to send you their data in a timely fashion. We will remind you when it's time to post and send you a form 24 hours after the test to report your analytics.
